The company has a 179 acres area of iron ore deposits in the Sundargarh district of Orissa. The deposits convert to over 20 million metric tones of 50-58% Fe grade. The company has procured a beneficiation plant from Allmineral GMbH, Germany.  A renowned face in the Indian iron ore beneficiation plant scenario, Allmineral GMbH has bagged projects from steel majors like Jindal Steel, Essar Steel and the Stemcor Group.

Currently in the implementation stage at the Orissa mines, the plant would improve the quality of iron ore from 50-58% Fe content to 60-62%.
